Enjoy a peaceful Oak Island vacation floating in your private pool at Woodlands Wonder. This upstairs duplex unit enjoys exclusive access to the extensive pool deck as well as the above ground pool, and welcomes up to two dogs per reservation. The lower unit is occupied by a long-term tenant.

This cute cottage is both bright and beachy with hardwood floors in the living areas and LVP flooring in the bedrooms. Gather with friends and family in the comfortable living room, complete with a fireplace for cool weather visits. Cheer your favorite team to victory while watching the game on the 55-inch HD flat screen TV with surround sound and extended cable throughout the house. There is an open, well-equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a gas stove and ample cabinets. The dining table seats six comfortably, but there’s enough room to add one more and the nearby kitchen island offers additional seating with two bar stools. Ceiling fans are provided throughout for your comfort. the kitchen is well-stocked for all your cooking needs, up to and including an air-fryer.

The master bedroom has a king bed as well as a twin daybed that can convert to a double. Here you’ll find a second 55-inch flat screen TV along with a DVD player, displayed on a stand with a small electric fireplace to make this a truly romantic hideaway. The attached bath is equipped with a standard tub/shower combo with sliding glass door. The second bedroom is furnished with two double beds, a 32-inch flat screen TV, DVD/VCR combo and a small movie library. The adjoining hall bath also provides a standard tub/shower combo with sliding glass door.

Spend your evenings outside on the screen porch or side deck, both with plenty of seating. Dine al fresca after preparing your catch of the day on your favorite grill- both charcoal and gas are provided. Let your dogs explore the shared fenced yard after returning from fishing in the Intracoastal Waterway just a few houses down, or rinse sand off feet or equipment with ease in the cold-water outdoor shower after a day spent on the beach less than a mile away. Whatever island adventures you’re longing to explore, Woodlands Wonder is the perfect home base for making vacation memories that will last a lifetime.

Oak Island Accommodations are the best!! All of the staff are so nice and always helpful. The house is so clean and stocked with everything you would ever need.

We were looking for a place on Oak Island with totally private pool and short distance to the beach. This wonderful home filled the bill nicely. We really appreciate the effort and expense the owner put into adding the pool, the decking, and all the other amenities. The property management company was very responsive to our little needs, including coming out on a Sunday, late in the afternoon. The only update we would recommend is a new mattress in the master bedroom. Looking forward to another future opportunity to stay at Woodlands Wonder!
