If your ideal beach rental looks like it jumped right off of the page of a Southern Living magazine, then we have just the place for you to Let The Fin Begin! Nestled on the canal with expansive views of the Intracoastal Waterway with a private boat dock, this intimate home is bright and flooded with natural light.

The living room provides plenty of comfortable seating to watch a favorite movie together on the large flatscreen TV, or enjoy a game of cards around the coffee table while soaking in the amazing view instead! You’ll find a roomy dining table that comfortably seats eight nestled between the living room and kitchen, with bar stools available at the kitchen counter for additional seating. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your favorite meals or fresh catch of the day.

Just off the living room you’ll find the master bedroom with attached bath and direct deck access with a view. Off of the kitchen are two more bedrooms that share a full bathroom with hall access. All bedrooms on the upper floor have queen beds.

On the ground level, you’ll find the garage. This area has its own private entrance and is not directly accessible from the upper floor.

The front and back porches provide plenty of outdoor seating. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the grassy backyard. While the boat dock is available for guest use, the attached boat lift is not an available amenity. As an added bonus, the public boat ramp is less than a block away, as is the Lonerider Restaurant and Bar.

Guests with allergies should note that dogs are occasionally present during an owner or owner guest stay.

Let the Fin Begin is an absolute beautiful rental home. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the outdoor areas, specifically the dock on the intercoastal waterway. We spent many hours crabbing and fishing as well as just enjoying the view. The house itself is gorgeous. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family could need to make meals. The living room was inviting and comfortable. The bedrooms were nice with excellent mattresses for a good night sleep. The walk to the beach is a quick five minute walk. The garage included sand toys, a cart and chairs. We were not aware of this, and brought our own items. However, the cart came in extremely handy. We had a most wonderful week. The only reason we took away one star, was due to the quality/cleanliness of the linens and bedding in the rental. Even thought the linens were sealed upon arrival, they were not clean when unwrapped. Additionally the comforters were not cleaned. We did not receive replacement items as requested. Once we were able to access the washer and dryer, we cleaned the items ourselves. While this was an inconvenience, we truly enjoyed our time at Let The Fin Begin. The house/location is a five star experience, the only reason for four stars is due to the housekeeping issues.

We loved staying at Let The Fin Begin! This cottage is a gem! We had everything we needed and it was perfect for our family of four! The kayaks were a hit with our kids. We will definitely rent again!

Location of property was ideal - creek and ocean access. Clean, updated, and tastefully decorated. Wonderful neighbors renting property beside us. Spent a lot of time on the dock - caught the largest flounder of my life during this trip.
