Located just one block from Heron Lookout Park along the Davis Canal and less than half a mile from the closest beach access, Carolina Sunshine is the ideal Oak Island getaway! This vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly rentals.

The Living Space

The open floor plan invites you into the living room that is finished with a large sectional positioned around a glass coffee table and flat screen smart TV with streaming capabilities.

The space flows into the kitchen that houses a large island, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances that pair well with the white cabinets and range.

Four barstools line the island to go along with a dining room table that allows seating for up to six guests.

Where You'll Sleep

The master bedroom is finished with a queen bed and a private entrance to the back screened porch. Off the suite, a private bathroom with a large dual vanity and walk-in shower grants you entry to the spacious walk-in closet.

The second queen bedroom provides plenty of closet space and its own access to the back porch as well!

Down the hall, adjacent to the shared full bathroom, the final room features a double bed as well as a single-over-double bunk bed perfect for the little ones.

Outdoor Living Areas

The front porch overlooks the road and houses plenty of outdoor furniture for you to lounge in as the breeze brushes through the trees. The back screen porch offers another great spot to enjoy the summer breeze while you fire up the grill on the back deck.

The Carolina Sunshine home was fantastic and we absolutely lived everything about this home. A privated fenced area for our 4 legged family members, a beautiful kitchen and a magnificent master sweet. Also, the huge bed swing on the screened in back porch!!! Located not too far from the beach, easy walk or very quick drive or golf cart ride to the pay to park spots at the beach strand. This was our first trip to Oak Island and we fell in love with this cozy lil beach side town. We will be staying here again in the future.

The house was beautiful and in a great location! Although, it's sparsely furnished and has minimal kitchen supplies. We loved the porches and fenced yard for the dog. We have been staying in The Woodlands area for years. It's a nice neighborhood for walking, with or without the dog.
