Experience true Beachview Bliss when you stay at this stately vacation home in the heart of Oak Island. Located just 300 yards from the sea on a dead end street with limited public parking, you can enjoy glimpses of the Atlantic through the treetops from your top deck as well as easy access to one of the least-crowded stretches of sand on the island. Walk to ice cream shops, restaurants and even mini golf in the evenings, or simply enjoy walking Fido along quiet neighborhood streets, as this vacation rental welcomes up to one dog per stay.

The living room on the first floor welcomes you with bright pops of color and plenty of comfortable seating arranged around a large flat screen TV where you can log in and stream your favorite shows. Around the corner, the dining table seats eight comfortably, although two extra dining chairs are available. There are also two barstools at the adjacent breakfast bar.

The gleaming white kitchen with matching appliances features wraparound counters with plenty of space to store snacks for easy access or prepare meals as a team. This space is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and serve your favorite recipes during your stay. A laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer is located nearby.

The primary suite on the first floor is furnished with a queen bed and a TV for personal entertainment. A matching dresser and chest offer room to unpack and organize, while the attached private bathroom with double sinks, water closet, large garden tub and separate shower stall means two can easily get ready to hit the town in the evenings without feeling crowded. The second bedroom on this floor is also furnished with a queen bed, and a full bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo with hall access is also convenient to the common living spaces.

On the second floor, the family room offers a truly memorable movie watching experience – the large flat screen TV has a 3D feature, and six pairs of 3D viewing glasses are provided for your use. Bright and well lit, an additional dining table seating four is located here along with a collection of love seats and armchairs to settle into. Carolina blue skies and gently waving green treetops beckon beyond the many windows lining this space.

A full bathroom is accessible from the hallway and offers a large tile shower stall, along with direct access to a bedroom with both a queen bed and a twin day bed with twin trundle. Bright colors and a fun lighting fixture create an ideal space for the younger members of your party. The final two bedrooms are connected by a roomy bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo. Each of these two bedrooms features a queen bed and direct access to the upper-level deck. Sit on the elevated captain’s chairs with your coffee to greet the day each morning or watch the sun fade beneath the treetops as the sky glows orange and purple each evening.

Porches are also available on the lower level of the home. The covered front porch is furnished with Adirondack chairs and side tables, while the partially covered back porch offers additional seating and outdoor dining, as well as access to the large and shady backyard. Under the home, an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water is a great option for rinsing sand off after returning from the beach.

When you are ready to hit the sand, there’s no need to pile in the car first. It’s a short stroll to the end of the street, where a gentle sand path over the dunes leads you to sun, sand and surf in three minutes or less. Located on a roughly ½ mile stretch of beach with no oceanfront road running alongside, this section of sand is one of East Beach’s least crowded sections of beachfront, but you’re still conveniently located to a number of Oak Island businesses. This rental was so nice and clean! Not a great view of the ocean but a close enough walk that we didn’t need to load the car or rent a golf cart to get to the access. The street was very quiet for having a public access at the end of it, I believe it’s not a very used access point as there were very few parking spaces. The check in process was the most convenient I’ve ever experienced. I was emailed a door code a few days prior to our arrival and that was it! Same for check out, very easy and was provided clear instructions through an email on how to complete the check out. The house was huge and easily accommodated 5 adults and 4 kids. Kitchen was adequately stocked with supplies and utensils. The ONLY suggestion would be to provide more toilet paper, as we did run out mid stay and had to purchase more, but that was no big deal. Would 10/10 recommend this company and this rental property!
