The next time you visit Oak Island, ensure that your time spent off the beach is a true After Dune Delight with a stay at this quiet neighborhood property complete with kid-friendly amenities. Walk half a mile to the Oak Island Rec Center for fun activities or load up the provided beach cart and take the scenic walkway over Davis Canal all the way to the ocean, less than a mile from your doorstep.

The covered front porch offers plenty of room to get organized as you set off on the day’s adventures, or as a shaded respite for quiet conversation as you watch the world go by and enjoy the island breeze. Guests can also relax on the screened back porch as they watch the sunlight filter through Oak Island's famous trees and clouds drift through the Carolina blue sky.

The kitchen is flooded with natural light thanks to a high ceiling lined with windows, and undercabinet lighting keeps the space bright after sunset. There’s plenty of counter space for preparing meals or storing snacks for easy access, and everything you need to prepare meals is provided, from appliances to cookware.

The dining table seats six, and an additional two barstools are available at the adjacent breakfast bar.

Gather together on the couch and loveseat to stream a favorite movie on the wall-mounted Smart TV or curl up in the chair with a good book instead.

All three bedrooms offer their own wall-mounted TV for personal entertainment, so there’s no need to disrupt bedtime routines. The master suite is furnished with a king bed and direct access to the screened porch. The attached private bathroom offers his and hers sinks and a step-in glass and tile shower. The remaining two bedrooms share access to a hall bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo, and each provides a queen bed.

A laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer is conveniently located off the common living areas.

Underneath the home, the enclosed outdoor shower and separate half bathroom are likely to be your first stops when returning from the beach. Rinse off the sand with ease or coordinate quick breaks with kids before heading back to the ocean for more fun. Rest and chat on the provided outdoor furniture under the home while the kids play in the grassy backyard.

You'll find plenty of parking space in the double gravel driveway, including some covered space underneath the home.
