At Nemo's Place, guests will experience the slower pace of the island's interior combined with convenient beach access via the 20th Street crossover (a 15-minute walk to the beach). There is a 12x20 screened patio area on the ground level that is ideal for outdoor entertaining. This patio area features an outdoor dining table with seating for eight, lounge chairs along and a Hatteras-style hammock. This screened-in patio also features a TV, small refrigerator and two ceiling fans. Other outdoor amenities include two single-person kayaks, three adult bicycles, two teen bicycles, a covered porch with furniture, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, and a gas and charcoal grill.

Home features a TV with basic cable, wireless internet access, Xbox and games, games/puzzles as well as a Carolina room.

Guests should note that this home has a ground-level studio that may be occupied by the property owner. This will not affect any amenities offered with this home. External cameras located on the property.

We enjoyed the pool and outside area very much! I think we stayed in the pool more than we did the beach. The place was the cleanest house that we have ever stayed in. The Carolina room was awesome for the kids to play their games in. The owners were so very nice and accommodating.

We truly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home! The kids loved the pool, and we had fun riding bikes. The beach and pier were wonderful while the weather was perfect! The shopping was great in Southport and the food was very good at Olivers. While we are leaving a day early in front of Hurricane Ian, we still feel very rested from a busy summer and now getting back to the mountains of VA. As the crisp Autumn air settles in our place, we will have many memories of nice summer days here at Oak Island.

What a wonderful week we had in Oak Island, NC this week. The weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed doing so many things. The hosts at our beach house (Nemo's) were great. It is a lovely and exciting place to stay. We enjoyed the nice pool and the nice, screened porch where we enjoyed our family game night on Monday. Thanks so much. It was a pleasure to meet you both.

What a wonderful week we have had. We celebrated a birthday. We went to the beach and enjoyed kayaking in the inlet. The pool was such a relaxing way to end our days. The weather was perfect. The rooms were very accommodating. Many treasured family memories were made here at Nemo's Place.

We thank you for giving us a great place to stay for our family vacation. The kids loved the pool. It gave them something to do on the really windy days (too windy for the beach). The kids also loved all of the pool and beach toys in the storage area. Beautiful home. Had everything we needed. We would love to return someday.

I think in total, this is our 4th time staying at Nemo's Place. As always, everything was perfect, and it felt like home for the week. The addition of the pool this year was great. The kids had so much fun. It was even more special this year because my parents and brother's family were here and came by on our last night and we had a wonderful evening. I hate we didn't get to visit with you on this trip and that I kept missing your calls, but I am sure we will be back. Thank you again for opening your home to our family. To all who came after to rent... you won't find a better place to stay or better people to rent from!

We have been traveling to Oak Island for the past 15 years and have stayed in many homes. Yours is truly one of the most comfortable and beautiful we've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
