Updated kitchen has granite countertops, double ovens, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and regular coffee makers, plus a blender for smoothies.

Over 1000+ square feet of living area/great room with an eating area for 10. Beautiful hardwood flooring throughout with ceiling fans and separate sitting areas.

Recreation room on the ground level with TV, a pool table (Brunswick slate seven foot). Perfect place for your teenagers. The ground level has a mini split system for heat and AC.

Decks to the beach with built-in benches! A large Hot Tub to soothe those tired muscles (Please note the hot tub is closed from December 1, 2023, until March 1, 2024, for necessary cleaning and maintenance.) A spacious oceanfront deck at the dune line just steps from the beach! Oceanfront views everywhere, outdoor furniture, picnic table, deck shower.

Also available for special events, and this vacation rental welcomes up to one dog (20 pounds or less) per reservation for year-round and off-season monthly rentals.

Just a Beach Cottage is a real "beach cottage" just for you and your family to enjoy! Our cottage is one of Caswell's longest standing homes built in the 1950's but updated for today's renters. A real treasure!

Our vacation house was perfect for us. Five full baths, plenty of sitting areas, lots of dining space, stocked kitchen, beach chairs, a grill, a hot tub, right on the beach, and so much more! We had a wonderful time.

Our family stayed at this wonderful beach house in mid-May, and it exceeded all of our expectations. We have a 9-month old baby and 4.5 year old, and had our in-laws come to vacation with us as well. The home had plenty of room -- we did not even use the basement area because upstairs was plenty for us! We went to the grocery store upon arrival and stocked the kitchen with food/drinks, and also ordered takeout from many nearby restaurants. It was so homey and relaxing. Some of my favorite amenities included: labeled light switches (this was SO helpful!), rocking chair (for helping the baby to sleep), outdoor foot wash and shower (rinsing sand off after walking on the beach was so easy), smart TV in living room (we were able to log in to our Disney+ account), cabinet full of games and puzzles (great entertainment for our daughter in the evenings), comfortable beds for everyone, fantastic grill out back, a large umbrella and sand toys for the beach, laundry machines were fantastic for washing up clothes before heading back home, and more. We utilized the huge deck every day. We brought a small blow-up pool for the kids and had plenty of room on the deck to set it up, while still having space for chairs and other toys. The double deck was so convenient, as we were able to have a picnic type lunch on the deck area closer to the ocean. Being able to walk to the beach in 1minute, without loading kids in car seats or packing a full day worth of supplies was incredibly convenient! It allowed us to walk on the beach super early in the morning, where we got to watch about 5 dolphins swimming not far from the water's edge. We also went out late at night once and saw tons of crabs scurrying about the sand. During the day we collected tons of seashells, built sandcastles, etc. We loved how private and quiet the beach seemed, with very few people around us each day. The weather was perfect, the sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking, and the sand was really clean. Overall, this house was well-maintained, nicely decorated, and had more than enough space and amenities for a fantastic week away. Highly recommend, and we cannot wait to come back another time!

Our family and circle of friends absolutely love Just a Beach Cottage-she's more than a cottage"-she's like coming home. We have stayed here for years and the new owners have loved her and updated her. We had 5 Beach houses full of friends this year and they all love our house the best. My family loves to cook fresh seafood while we are here and the kitchen is great! The basement is perfect for the kids and the bathrooms on every bedroom are fantastic. It's also great for my elderly father who gets around with a walker. We highly recommend Just a Beach Cottage -we consider her our home always from home!! <BR><BR>Michele Royster and Family"

Just a Beach Cottage is anything but!! It is a wonderfully appointed Beachhouse that makes you feel like you are at home right on the water! Our large circle of family and friends love to gather and cook fresh seafood and eat, drink and be merry in this lovely ole house. We stayed at Just a Beach Cottage and have off and on for over a decade and WOW the new owners have done wonders for the place. It is one of the oldest houses on the island and we love the vintage feel of the place. The improvements they did retained that, while making the house more usable. If you have a large group this is the house to rent for a reasonable price.
