Sit on the spacious deck and watch dolphins frolic in the waves and fishing boats bob in the distance as you sip your morning coffee. 1601-C U @ the Beach is ready to welcome your entire family, including up to two dogs weighing 60 lbs or less per reservation.

The open concept living area is bright and welcoming, with vaulted ceilings and a comfortable sectional with plenty of space for your crew. A large flat screen TV allows you to stream your favorite personal services or watch the big game on provided basic cable. The dining table seats six and is arranged so you can still enjoy views of the Atlantic while dining. The modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and double sinks is well stocked for all your cooking and dining needs. Prepare the catch of the day or a favorite family recipe with ease.

The master bedroom is located on this floor, featuring a king bed, ocean views, large flat screen TV and attached private bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo. An additional bedroom with a queen bed is also located on this floor. There is a half bathroom with hall access available, as well as a laundry closet with a washer and dryer.

The final two bedrooms are located upstairs and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a step-in shower. One bedroom has a queen bed and small flat screen TV. The final bedroom is furnished with two twin beds.

Outside, you’ll find both covered and uncovered deck space with a variety of outdoor furniture for relaxing and reveling in the ocean breeze. On the lower level is an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a charcoal grill for your use. A private wooden walkway leads to the dunes, where the shared access path to the beach is just a few steps to the left. You’ll find the Ocean Crest Fishing Pier within easy walking distance, along with waterfront dining at Island Way Restaurant. We rented this house off-season for a week and had a great stay. Maintenance issues at the start were addressed swiftly by Oak Island Accomodations, a reason I have booked with them for the past 10 years. Two bedrooms + the living room facing the water is a plus. We filled all 4 bedrooms, and it was quite comfortable. I do need to point out that the house is 1601C and there's a 1601E next door. Our house only had an almost invisible street sign, and we initially went to the wrong house.

Great location, loved the gates on the porches. So thankful it was dog friendly and loved the overall set up. It was in need of some end of season TLC and maintenance to make it perfect. But we would stay again just knowing these were possible issues we would encounter.
