UPDATE: Ivy Cottage has some big changes coming up in 2023, including a repaired deck along with an increase in seating and new furniture. The fenced yard area will entail a stone patio for the picnic table and small sitting area overlooking grill area. The remaining area will have Bermuda Sod.

Ivy Cottage is a well-maintained and a cozy retreat with hardwood, pergo and tiled floor, an updated kitchen and a sunroom with a pullout sofa for extra seating and additional dining. The full bathroom features a shower.

The oceanfront deck has rockers and picnic tables plus a security gate for your children or dogs (this vacation rental welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round), plus a fenced yard. Outside enclosed shower with hot and cold water and changing room and a charcoal grill.

Three flat screen TV's with cable, three DVD players and wireless internet.

Please note there are limited ocean views over dune line.

This was our best year coming to OI. We have always stayed in Caswell Dunes, but decided we wanted oceanfront. The Ivy Cottage was reasonably priced and OIA made it possible to obtain. We had one small maintenance issue and it was taken care of the next morning. The ease of getting on the beach, the cute cottage with a great deck and the pier within walking distance we just some of the wonderful things.

Ivy Cottage is a lovely, old-timey beach cottage with lots of privacy. The sunroom provides extra indoor living space with full view of the ocean. There are plenty of flatscreen TVs and the wireless service is reliable. The beach is just a short walk away. The best thing was minimal stairs for our arthritic dog. The empty lot next door gave her easy access to the beach without having to go up and down more than needed. We had a great stay there and will definitely be back!
