This bright and perky four-bedroom home is a place for you to lie back, relax, and go on ''island time.'' With plenty of space for you and your family, GINNY'S WAY is well-located on the east end of the island where you can have peace and quiet, yet also access to island shops and restaurants only a couple of miles away. The nearby bridge leads back to the mainland where you will find more shopping, the maritime village of Southport, and the Southport Ferry taking you to the city of Wilmington.
Of course, island living means going to the beach, and here you have easy beach access from GINNY'S WAY because Caswell Beach has only two rows of houses. Plus, this house has the luxury of a marsh view where you can commune with egrets and other shore birds from your dining table and back deck or ponder the sights of the Southport Harbor and Cape Fear River's shipping channel while you sip a cool beverage in the evening.
Ginny likes to cook when she comes to the beach, so if you do, too, take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen here at GINNY'S WAY, even a gas grill. Eat in or serve the meal on the umbrella table with 6 cushioned chairs. Either way, as you dine, you can observe dozens of egrets feeding in their natural habitat.
For a shady retreat from the Carolina sun, recline in the swing or one of the glider chairs on the screened-in porch, take in the ocean breezes, and watch the sky change color over time. What a life! After a meal, enjoy basic cable TV with local channels (Ginny will add premium channels upon request), make a viewing selection from among the VCR/DVD movies suitable for all ages, or go for a romantic evening stoll, barefoot along the beach!
