Oak Island Skate Park
This park is 8,400 square feet and includes a six foot halfpipe and street course with quarterpipe, banks, spine, street spine, fly box and pyramid. Both skateboards and inline skates are allowed and the surface type used is skatelite. The Oak Island Skate Park has a "Crashup Derby Factor" of two. It does cost money to skate here and you do have to wear full pads. Beginning September 6, 2005 the hours for the Oak Island Skate Park will be as follows:
Skate Park Hours:
Fridays 4pm - 9pm
Saturdays 10am - 9pm
Sundays 1pm - 8pm
The Skate Park will be open on Labor Day Monday. Call 278-4747 for more information.
