Public boat ramp access for kayaks and john boats at 39th St., approximately ½ mile east. Blue Water Point Marina and The Fish House Restaurant is ½ mile west for docking and launching larger boats. Sunset cruises, fishing charters, jet ski and kayak rentals also available there. It also has the best restaurant in the area.
Don't miss The Provision Co. in Southport for great food, open air dining and views of the Intracoastal waterway. Several good restaurants in the area. Check the bulletin board for restaurant recommendations from previous guests. If "cooking in", check out Haag & Sons for fresh fish.
Oak Island Golf Course is 15 minutes (8 miles) away.
