Watch the pelicans fly in formation along the coast, the fishing boats trolling, the huge commercial vessels heading for the shipping channels of the open ocean. The swimming pool at THE PALMS is now available on the premises and includes two hot tubs and plenty of sun-bathing area. Covered parking is available in the spaces below the building with both elevator and stairs for all needs. Also, for things to do and see, the island has a wide variety of activities (skate boarding, ball fields, fishing areas, kite boarding, observation points, boating to name only a few). Off the island, you will enjoy a visit to the historical maritime village of Southport and also to the major shipping port of Wilmington (Riverwalk area, shopping malls, a wide variety of restaurants, etc.)
