Southern Living Magazine stated that there are two things that you have to see when you come to the Grand Strand: the ocean, and The Carolina Opry. The Carolina Opry has been thrilling hundreds of thousands of visitors for 21 years. The award winning show blends two hours of critically acclaimed music, comedy and dance – from Broadway to country, from classic pop to rock ‘n roll, and gospel to bluegrass. This is the only show to receive every top tourism award, and the Most Outstanding Attraction, and voted the #1 show every year.
If you only see one show in Myrtle Beach, you must see The Carolina Opry in it’s 2,200-seat show palace. From the moment you enter the stunning two-story marble lobby, you know you are in for an extraordinary experience that you and your family will remember long after the tans have faded and the sand has been shaken from your shoes. Show is approximately 2 ½ hours long, including a 20-minute intermission.
For the months of January through October the pre-show starts at 7:30 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. For the months of November through December come enjoy the Special Christmas Show.
