Thursday, November 15, 2007- In this week before Thanksgiving, thank you, one and all, for making this one of the happiest years on Oak Island.
Some of the many things we are thankful for include Sherri Marshall's election to the Dosher Hospital Board of Trustees. She sends her thanks to everyone who voted and/or campaigned for her and hopes that everyone will join her in helping to make Dosher's future bright. Another thing we are thankful for is the progress of the 2008 rental guide here at Oak Island Accommodations. Everyone has been working hard on the guide, but Jessica and Paige have played especially key roles of seeing that the guide goes to the printer very soon so that prospective guests can have their own copies by the December holidays. In this week before Thanksgiving and Veterans' Day, we also give thanks for our active duty military personnel and all veterans everywhere. We have much to be thankful for, much to give reference to at our Thanksgiving meals next week!
