Hurricane Matthew Update 1:45 pm 10/9/16

10/9/16 1:45 p.m. Hurricane Matthew Update: East and West Beach drive is in the process of removing sand and railroad ties that were used for parking and other debris. There was significant flooding especially around the Middleton area on the beach. If there were any homes with a ground level, it is most likely flooded. Ocean drive is flooded from Barbee through 74th street. Caswell Beach road looked good other than in front of the Lighthouse/Coast Guard station. There seems to only be minimal wind damage such as siding and fences down. However, a home can look good on the outside and be a totally different story on the inside. This is why we will enter each home that we can get into beginning tomorrow morning. Yes, we are still closed today to give our employees time to get back and assess their own properties, and to allow the Towns to clean up debris and roads. Please stay tuned to our website or this page for further updates.

We have reserved Franks FOlly for the week Oct 8 – Oct 15 and are continuing follow updates about its possible availability for the remainder of this week. Since FF has a lower level living area we are not optimistic.
